TRASHFACE
TRASHFACE is an experimental typeface designed by distorting the contours of sans serif typefaces. The limitations set created the challenge of forming counters and other recognizable forms that were needed to maintain some semblance of legibility.
To reflect the process of creating the typeface, the TRASHFACE specimen was designed with the core idea of “TRASHING” in mind. With some pages needing to be ripped appart in order to reveal the pages inside. The reader is expected to tear apart the book to get the full experience.
